Ezra Wilder was born in Sullivan in 1813 bought land here from John Osgood and built the house.
On 09 January 1845 he married Elizabeth Saville Hathorn of Henniker. The couple began to build a large family farm and would become the parents of eight or nine children.
In 1888 he sold the homestead to his youngest son, Frederick. Ezra and Elizabeth lived there until their deaths in 1890 and 1897 respectively.
Frederick later sold the place to George S. Page and his son, the famous contra dance caller, Ralph. Ralph Page and his family lived there for many years. It is currently the home of John Bunce.
